This website is operated by Michiel Contant, Practical Wing Chun instructor and author, Lelystad, the Netherlands. Questions about your information can be sent to info@wingchun-lelystad.nl.
Requesting the free eBook
When you request Structure in Wing Chun, your email address is used to send the download link. If you do not select the optional updates, the website does not add your address to the subscriber list.
The form uses a short-lived pseudonymous security token derived from the requesting network address to limit automated abuse. These rate-limit records are removed automatically after approximately one hour.
Optional Wing Chun updates
If you actively select the optional checkbox, the email you receive contains a separate confirmation link. Your address becomes an active subscriber only after you use that link. The record includes your email address, the date of confirmation, the source page and the version of the consent statement. Unconfirmed requests are removed after fourteen days.
Confirmed addresses are used only for occasional Wing Chun articles, training notes and book updates. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the unsubscribe page or by emailing the address above. Active subscription records are retained until consent is withdrawn. Unsubscription status is retained so that the address is not added again accidentally.
Contact form
Details entered in the private-lesson contact form are sent to Michiel Contant by email so that he can respond. The website does not maintain a separate contact-form database.
Anonymous promotion counts
The website records aggregate counts for eBook landing-page views, eBook calls to action, successful delivery requests, optional subscription requests and onward clicks to the books or Instagram. These counts contain an event name, source label, date and total only. Names, email addresses, cookies, IP addresses and browser details are not stored with these promotion counts.
The website also records aggregate counts when an Amazon link is selected. These counts contain the destination book and source page only. Names, email addresses, cookies, IP addresses and browser details are not stored with these counts.
Hosting and email delivery
The website and its protected records are hosted by STRATO. Email delivery is handled through the website's configured mail service. Data is used only for the purposes described above and is not sold.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for future messages. Contact info@wingchun-lelystad.nl. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
